RYA is a part of the Northwest Texas Youth Football Association (NWTYFA) along with several other local youth organizations.

Away games will require some travel to other towns.  You can visit the NWTYFA website for a complete list of member towns. 

Registration Open!

Flag Football (5U and 6U)
$125 Early / $150 Regular / $175 Late

Tackle Football (7U, 8U, 9U, 10U and 12U)
$200 Early / $225 Regular / $250 Late

Age is determined by the player's age as of September 1, 2024.

• Every tackle and flag player is required to attend one of the two certification/weigh-ins.
• Every player attending certification/weigh-ins must have proper documentation to be certified and weighed in. 
• Documents must be in hard copy/paper form and have full name and birthdate of player. No digital documentation will be accepted.
• Documents accepted include: birth certificates, military IDs, state IDs, official school testing scores.
• Players who do not attend either certification/weigh-in will not be eligible to participate in the upcoming season.

3 game day uniforms are included with registration.
Flag football players receive a soft shell helmet, custom flags & belt.

Season administrative fees are also included in the cost of registration (field maintenance, insurance, equipment, etc.)

All players will need football cleats and a mouth guard. 

Tackle football players will need a practice jersey, practice pants with pads, football helmet and shoulder pads.  *Tackle football players will also need pads for their game day uniform pants.

RYA is a non-profit organization that relies solely on volunteers. 
If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to the Head Coach, Team Mom or Football Director.

All coaches, assistant coaches, team moms, directors, officials, and board members are required to complete an annual criminal background check with RYA.

Practices will be held mainly at:

Occasional practices and/or scrimmages may be held at:
Richland High School
5201 Holiday Ln
NRH, TX 76180

• RYA home games will be played at the Richland High School football field on Saturdays.
• All games require a gate entry fee of $6 for adults & $4 for children (CASH ONLY).
• Gate fee does not apply to players & cheerleaders in uniform or approved volunteer staff.
• Spectators must remain in stands & may not enter the track & field area.
• Approved volunteers are required to wear a NWTYFA identification badge at all times.

RHS invites RYA to participate in a some of their season events:

• Homecoming Parade: The Football & Cheer teams in each age division will work together on their parade float.
• RYA Night: Tailgate party at a RHS game (TBD). Before kickoff, the RYA football players & cheerleaders will run onto the field with the RHS Varsity football players.
